This NCEO dataset provides global (between 60 S and 80 N) vegetation height (or object height) frequency distributions per half by half degree longitude and latitude derived from ICESAT Geoscience Laser Altimeter System (GLAS) waveform data.

Provides surface global albedo data (albedo, reflectance, fraction of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation, NDVI (for vegetation phenology and leaf area)) from 1998 - 2011 from European satellites.

Provides Land Surface Temperature Datasets from ENVISAT's AATSR sensor, MET-8's SEVIRI sensor, the SSM/I on the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) F* platforms, and ATSR2 sensor on ERS-2.

NCEO dataset from TOPography EXperiment (TOPEX) for ocean circulation (otherwise known as Poseidon), which has been kriged, resulting in monthly means on a 1x1 latitude/longitude grid for 12 years (1993-2004) for wind speed, squared wind speed, cubed wind speed, wind speed * significant wave height, significant wave height, 1/sigma0(Ku) and gas transfer velocity.

This NCEO Land Surface Temperature Level 2 data product (UOL_LST_2P) from the Advanced Along Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR) is produced by the University of Leicester.
