This one day workshop hosted by NCEO-University of Leicester will bring together academics and industry representatives working in the global forest MRV sector with the aim to identify:
1. Key areas of MRV expertise and capability gaps within the UK
2. Scope objectives of current overseas work and ODA spend
3. Aligning the Science | Policy interface for best use of UK expertise
4. Coordination for future funding efforts

You need to use the entrance next to the library marked ‘Law’ on the map.
If you are coming by train, the station is 20 minutes’ walk from campus, or 10 minutes in a taxi from the station.
Accommodation – The nearest hotel (within 15 mins walking distance) is the Belmont Hotel.
The Belmont is also convenient if you are travelling by rail.
Accomodation is also available at the University’s College Court conference centre, which is about 30 minutes’ walk to the meeting venue.
Parking – If you require parking on campus, please email the organiser to request a parking permit at least 5 days before the meeting.
