Registrations open for UK Earth Observation Conference 2026

Registration is now open for the UK Earth Observation Conference 2026 (UKEO 2026), which will take place from 15–17 September 2026 at the University of Warwick.

Organised by the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO), with support from the Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation (CEOI) and Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc), the conference will bring together the UK’s Earth observation (EO) community across academia, industry, government and policy to share the latest research, applications and innovations, and to explore the role of EO in addressing national and global challenges.

A Key Event for the UK EO Community

UKEO 2026 will provide a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange across the EO sector. The programme will showcase advances in EO science and technology, alongside real-world applications supporting areas such as climate monitoring, environmental management and sustainable development.

The event will also provide opportunities to build new partnerships and contribute to discussions shaping the future direction of EO in the UK.

Professor John Remedios, Director of the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO), said:

The UK Earth Observation Conference is an important opportunity to bring together our community to share knowledge and strengthen collaborations. Earth observation plays a vital role in understanding our changing planet, and events like UKEO help ensure that UK science continues to deliver impact for society.”
