UK Earth Observation Conference 2026

15-17th September 2026
University of Warwick

We are pleased to announce that the UK Earth Observation Conference 2026 will be held at the University of Warwick from Tuesday 15 – Thursday 17 September 2026.

This three-day national event will bring together researchers, industry professionals, government representatives, and partners working across all areas of Earth Observation (EO). The programme aims to strengthen cross-disciplinary and cross-sector communication, foster collaboration, and address key challenges facing the UK and the wider global EO community.

Across keynote talks, presentations, posters, and workshops, the conference will span the full breadth of EO from instrument and platform technology development through to data analysis, calibration, validation, and knowledge extraction to policy engagement. Opportunities for networking and collaboration will be available throughout the event.

As part of the early planning process, we invite the community to help shape the programme. Our Call for Themes and Workshop Ideas can be found here. We welcome suggestions that highlight emerging scientific priorities, evolving challenges, and areas where interdisciplinary engagement can add significant value.

Further details on registration, accommodation, abstract submissions, and sponsorship opportunities will be shared in early 2026.

For now, please save the date and share this announcement with colleagues across your organisation and wider networks.

We look forward to welcoming you to Warwick in September 2026.
