Family friendly, COP28 at Space Park allow the general public, families, enthusiasts and professionals alike to come together with climate and space experts.

Held at the University of Leicester’s unique Space Park Leicester, the centrepiece for the event will be Luke Jerram’s magnificent 3m globe, which captures the beauty of our planet and was one of the main attractions at last year’s COP27 in Egypt.

Commissioned by Space Park Leicester partner, CGI, the Conference Of Parties (COP) Globe, was designed by the celebrated artist Luke Jerram, known worldwide for his large-scale public engagement artworks.

The globe mark’s Space Park Leicester and CGI’s commitment to sustainability, and highlights the role space is playing in the fight against climate change.

Don’t miss East Midlands based artist Michelle Reader, known for her sustainable sculptures, will be on hand to unveil her latest artwork and lead a family friend workshop.

Be a part of COP28 at Space Park, and investigate how technology can help the climate fight. Our community evening has been designed to leave you inspired and motivated to make a difference.
