The first joint workshop on representation uncertainty will take place at the University of Reading on the 31st March and the 1st April 2020. The objective of this workshop is to determine how representation uncertainty is defined and quantified in the Earth science communities of data assimilation, Earth observation and forecast verification. The workshop will facilitate discussion between experts in these communities and aims to develop a consistent terminology across fields, identifying common goals and techniques, and fostering future collaborations.
This one and a half day discussion-based workshop is open to all experts in the associated fields. Please Click here to register for the workshop, and submit an abstract if you wish to present a poster or talk.
The deadline for registration and abstract submission is the 31st of January 2020.
