ESA Living Planet Symposium

NCEO will be exhibiting with the UK Space Agency at the ESA Living Planet Symposium and NCEO scientists will give presentations on the stand

The 2016 ESA Living Planet Symposium will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from 9-13 May 2016 and is organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the local support from Charles University in Prague.

NCEO will be joining the UK Space Agency on stand number 5 in the exhibition hall.  Presentations by NCEO scientists will be given on the stand at set times:

Monday at 12.35 – Stefano Ciavatta “Decadal reanalysis of biogeochemical indicators and fluxes in the North West European shelf by assimilating ESA CCI Ocean Colour”;

Monday at 13.00 – Ed Malina “Investigations into global bio/non-biological Methane Mapping from Space”;

Tuesday at 12.20 – Darren Ghent “UK Climate Datasets from Space: Land Surface Temperature”;

Wednesday at 12.40 – Joao Carreiras “Evaluating processes in tropical forests with remote sensing data: regeneration in the Amazon”;

Thursday at 12.40 – Chris Merchant “Sea Surface Temperature”.

ESA has published the preliminary programme for the main event.

Full papers for accepted contributions shall be provided at the event and will be published as ESA Special Publication. An Exhibition will be running from 9 to 12 May 2016. Before the official opening on Monday 9 May, keynote presentations are scheduled.
